4) Prices are in £ sterling pound
5) Shipping is £2 (Royal Mail first class delivery) for one item: for each additional add 50p.
6) No returns

Onto the products,

i.d bareMinerals Warmth All Over Face Colour 2g - £12
I have maybe only used 1% of this product. Tried it twice at most and I think I don't know how to work with it.

YSL Lisse Expert - £15
I always like to see immediate results with my purchases and sadly this one didn't do a thing for me (maybe because I don't have any deep wrinkles to tell the differences). I've read such good reviews of it, you might like to give it a go only paying less than half of its pricetag. I'm now trying out la mer eye cream so I guess it's better to sell it then letting it sit in the drawer!

fantastic product

This product is fantastic a little expensive but worth every penny, I have really deep lines from my nose to my mouth and this has made them vanish. Fantastic, Brilliant and superb

YSL Tinted Moisturiser in number 2 - £14
After a couple of applications, people complained it's too dark for me. A really nice product though, easy to blend and gives out a nice glow! I might get this in lighter shade someday when I finished up my current one.

Benefit Flamingo Fancy - £12
Again, used this maybe once or twice, realised it's too dark for me. It's got some shimmers in it to make you grow so you're not into shimmers don't get this! Very pretty product! You can see it looks brand new and unused! It actually is.

Lancome Juicy Tubes in Strawberry Funk - £6

Chanel 4 colours palette - £15

I have a lot more to put up but I'd really like to see how this one goes first.

Take care girls and enjoy your day! xoxo

Blog sale coming up next!

I haven't blogged in a very long time I do apologise but not like many read my blog anyway so that's not too bad. haha.

Anyway lately I've been trying to organise my makeup and noticed I no longer have room for them all. So therefore I'm hoping to sell off some of them. Brands that I'll be selling will be MAC, YSL, Chanel, Benefit, id bareMinerals, Lancome and many others including drugstore ones.

Rest assured the items will be specially selected for the blog sale and mainly those I only used up maybe once or twice, they mostly have 90-95% or more of the products left and they're all considerably new (mostly less than two months old). Other reason for selling is mainly they don't work for me, whether it's the colour or it's just me, not knowing how to work with them.

Give me another day or two to get everything organised.

Till then, stay tuned for the upcoming great bargains and take care ladies. xoxo

You shave, yes?

Do you shave? Be it armpits or legs or ............???? :p

If you do, read on. If not, I'd say it's a strange fact worth reading!

You might already know this and I'm sure I was probably a bit slow to get on the wagon but do you know hair conditioner can also be used as shaving cream?

Not only it saves you money but it helps to condition/prep the skin and hair before you shave, just like most other shaving gels supposed to. As a result, it gives you smoother skin and in time the unwanted hair will become finer too. As of shaving gels, they're not just quite expensive to buy but sometimes they can be quite drying to the skin too. I always had to lather on loads of lotion afterwards.

I know this sounds a bit strange but I actually read about this from somewhere - can't remember where exactly but let me reassure you it was from a reliable source! I won't be sharing this with you if I haven't tried it myself. After using the conditioner I find my skin really well moisturised and actually smoother compared to using anything else! It saves me time too as I no longer need to pile on lotion after shaving. Glad I read about it.

Hope you find this helpful and have fun ladies! xoxo

10th July 2009

Many Congratulations on your wedding, Cao Tian & Alvin!!!

Put together a flower bouquet, did her makeup and styled her hair for their big day.

I enjoyed myself tremendously, just hope I did them proud!

Some friends have been telling me that I should become a freelance make-up artist and hair-stylist but not sure if I have that kind of confidence just yet. Will see what the future holds for me. :*)

Be well everyone. xoxo

My little day saver!

When you're looking totally worn-out with no sparkles in your eyes and you're going on a day or night out, what you need is this little baby I discovered a while ago! Whether you're like me, a mom with many sleepless nights or lately been up all night for whatever reasons be it studying or a late night out, you'll appreciate that these things are out there to do you some miracles! Haha.

When I lack my eight hours' sleeps I often have this slightly red or sometimes yellowish tired-looking eyes, I look like a zombie (believe me!) and even piling on loads of makeup doesn't help!!! So this really saves my day!! You can call it my little miracle drops!!! Haha.

All I need is a single drop in each eye to have white sparkling lively eyes. What it does is to remove the day's build up of redness in our eyes so we look more fresh and clear. Not like we've been dragging around all day.

However there are precautions when it comes to the use of this product. You must always consult your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant, if you have an eye disease (eg glaucoma), or have had eye surgery, if you are taking any medicines or receiving medical treatment for high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, diabetes or thyroid disorder.

And one other thing is not to use more than four times a day! Well, everything has its limitations even foods have! But if you're using it wisely I'd say we're ok. It isn't too bad for me because I only use it when I need to - maybe only once a week or twice at most! Sometimes none at all. It depends very much on how I feel I look - more like a touch-and-go kind of thing! Mostly weekends when we're going out or when I'm looking like I need a slap in the face to wake me up or someone to drag me out of bed! ;*)

So there you have it, my little secret! What's your day saver? Let's share!!

Take care and cheerios! xoxo

Favourite eye makeup remover - for now!

I've used Lancome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover for as long as I can remember and finally decided to give drugstore ones a go. Not that it's not good, it's great! I've loved it and enjoyed using it all these years but one day I just thought why not give drugstore ones a chance - they can't be that bad. The Lancome one is also costing me a bomb at £18.50 for a 125ml considering it only lasts for a month or so.

I started with Loreal's. It wasn't too bad but not quite up to my expectations. Maybe because Lancome did a great job at removing waterproof mascara whereas Loreal's I was literally rubbing my eyes yet I still get panda eyes in the morning.

Anyway believe me when I say this, No. 7's Cleanse and Care is the best I've used so far. Not only it's well priced at £7 for a 100ml but I got mine when they were having the 3 for 2 deal so it was just under £5, even cheaper than the Loreal's. Best part is it doesn't evaporate - unlike the Lancome's or Loreal's, so that's good news! It's cheap and lasts longer too! That's another great find for me! Yippie.

Hope you find this helpful and enjoy your weekend ladies.

Huggies. xoxo

Money well spent!

I often get asked how I do my makeup and how it's so long-lasting and goes on for hours without smudging. Now I'm going to share with you my secret. Haha. As if!

It's that simple! All you need is a primer of any brand I'd imagine, but I'm using Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I'm sure all primers work more or less the same way.

However, I find applying this one is so effortless and it glides on so smoothly. You only need that tiny little bit for upper and lower eye areas and smooth it on with your finger. I prefer to use my ring finger because it's known to be the gentle one with the mildest pressure. :p

I don't quite remember how much exactly it was but definitely under £10 again I could well be wrong. I got mine from Boots but Superdrug does them too! Check them both out as they sometimes do pretty awesome deals. Enjoy!

Hope you're having a great day and stay pretty ladies. Huggies. xoxo

My must-have!

If I must choose one item and one item only, it would have to be MASCARA! How about you? What's the most important part of your make-up regime?

I have used many brands of mascara, from branded to drugstore ones but I have to say Loreal's Voluminous is the winner of them all (until I find a better one). It's so cheap, something like less than £7 each and sometimes you get deals like buy 3 for 2 which means much cheaper at less than £5 each.

Product Image

This is the old version of Voluminous. They have revised it and now it's Voluminous X5 and the packaging is in black.

Go grab yourself one if you haven't tried this! I really enjoy using mine and I hope you'd enjoy it as much as I do.

Diorshow is one of the expensive ones I've used. I'd give it a 3/5 because it smudges after a few hours of application. Maybe because I have oily skin? I don't know. Anyway it didn't work very well for me plus it's on the expensive side at around £20 each.

Diorshow Backstage Makeup

This is another that failed to meet my expectations! It's said to create a spectacular fanned out effect, for voluminous and beautifully lengthened looking lashes. Unfortunately didn't work for me!! Maybe for those with extremely long lashes it might do the trick but for me I'd give it a 2/5!

Product Image

The most disappointing and pointless one I've used will have to be Lancome ÔSCILLATION WATER-RESISTANT. This is what it says on the product descriptions and none of its claims is true, what a bunch of b***s***!!!! Maybe for the part that it vibrates. Haha!

The 1st water-resistant vibrating mascara by LancĂ´me.
Perfect looking-lashes at the touch of a button.

Up to 18 hours wear. Lashes resist water without smudging. Up to 7000 oscillations per minute. Easy application.

The polymer-based vibrating brush has been specially designed to work in synergy with the texture of Oscillation for perfect lashes in the blink of an eye.

Simply press the button and this mascara automatically mimics the zig-zag brushstrokes used by professional make-up artists for lashes that look fuller, longer and more seperated.

1. Its micro-oscillating action and its ultra-smooth water-resistant long wear formula allows every single lash, even the shortest and hardest-to-reach, to be coated evenly.
2. The easy-to-use mascara brush ensures a controlled application so each lash is perfectly defined with no clumping.
3. Our revolutionary Powermascara leaves lashes looking visibly extended and multipled at the touch of a button.

They're charging a hefty £28 each and I felt so cheated after my first application!! It didn't do a thing to my lashes and I must say, any drugstore mascaras would do better than this. What a total gimmick!!!

So ladies, make sure you don't go wasting your money on this one!! I haven't touched mine a lot after a few applications! What a total waste of money!!

Enjoy your day and stay beautiful ladies. xoxo

Best and cheapest lip care product

Like many others I often find myself having very badly chapped lips especially in winter it can get so dry it sometimes bleeds.

I have tried many lip care products from Burt's Bee the popular and rather expensive one at around £5 for a tiny little jar to Carmex and Blistex and other lipglosses but in the end I always find myself coming back to Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.

Not only it's cheap at £1 each it seems to be doing the job quite well. I've recently been to Boots and saw this:

Bought it without second thought and loving it to bits. I think it's relatively new in the market because I've never seen it before, I'm sure it has always been the usual green and blue pots but never a pink one. It caught my eyes while I was checking out the aisles and thought I had to have it. It has a gentle tint of pink which gives rosy lips. How much better can it get for a £1 lip therapy product?

So that's like the best thing obviously because I can use it on its own as a soft lip colour + lip care. What a find!!

Small things make me happy and I'm glad I'm quite easy to please!!

Enjoy your day ladies and catch up soon! xoxo

False eyelashes

The sole purpose of this picture is to show you my eyes, nothing else! I've recently bought myself a pair of falsies and loving it! Too much hardwork though - well not too bad for a first-timer!

Don't think I'm bothered using it everyday - maybe when there's a big occasion or something yes I'd definitely consider using it because it does do wonders and open up eyes but then again it does feel a bit too much at the same time! Maybe not on pictures but in real life it does feel that way! Maybe I'm not used to seeing myself having it on just yet.
